7/28/24 - Buy One Pot, Get One Free at A House of Pots - One Day Pottery Super Sale

Buy one (at full price) …

get one, free.

Some people call this a BOGO. Others call it a 2-for-1. You can call it what you will as long as you recognize it’s a promotion for one day and one day only; and, if only for that one day, almost too good to be true.

On Sunday, July 28th, 2024, for one day and one day only, I'm offering a free matching pot with the purchase of any full priced planter in store.

This applies to any and all pottery at Denver, Colorado’s home of low, low prices:

A House of Pots

1620 w 74th way Denver CO 80221

Friday - Monday from 12 to 6

(but Google the business address to double check the days of operation and hours beforehand to safeguard against seasonal availability)

If you’re late to the party and see this post sometime after the promotional date, rest assured that there will still be plenty of pottery to be had at low, low prices, even if the entire store isn’t two for the price of one.

You’re on one if you think that I’m going to honor this deep discount for more than one day, but that’s not to say there’s not two for one discounts everyday; it’s just not the entire store. Just visit in person and ask what’s still two for one and there’s sure to be several items you receive two of for the regular price of one.

For one day though, I’m blowing out even my best inventory, including a brand new shipment of Talavera fresh off the boat from Hidalgo, Mexico. Also Mexican in origin are my timeless, stylish, handmade cylinders which have never been offered so cheaply. There’s also standard terracotta, glazed stoneware, indoor ceramics, large black or white trays, outdoor planters, and cost effective resin pots. Every inorganic item in store is two for the price of one on Sunday, 7/28/24.

Feel free to call or text should you be confused about the promotion or have any other questions:

Before you ask if everything is two for the price of one, or, even better yet, completely free, ask yourself this, “is today Sunday, July 28th, 2024?” Because if it’s not, know that the answer to your question is no, all items in the store aren’t buy one get one; because that was a one day promotion on 7/28/24.

But why 7/28/24 you ask. What is the significance of that date?

Well, it’s funny that you ask, because 7/28/24 commemorates one of the most important days in Colorado’s pottery history.

A long time ago, in the year nineteen and eighty-six, thirty-eight years prior, the purveyor of pots the patron of pottery, Don Potts, the Don of the Pots, was brought into this world to combat the ills of inflation and bring upon a new era of low, low prices.

In celebration of this great day, all pottery at A House of Pots is available at the price of two for one for one day only.

Should you not want to partake or happen to miss these celebrations, discounts ranging from 25% to 50% are offered year round.

Prices on pottery, after standard discounts, range from $0.50 to $140.

On 7/28, prices will range from $0.50 to $120.

(An 18” handmade Mexican cylinder, when purchased as a pair, will drop from $240 for one to $240 for two, effectively rendering a $120 pot purchase price which constitutes the most expensive item in the store currently)

There are still a small amount of plants for sale, but they’re mostly san pedro cactus, ranging from $15-$20 for smaller cacti and $35 to $50 for larger specimens. I also have bags of raised garden bed soil for sale as well.

At this point, you may be asking what’s for free?

Well, I would hope at this point you gathered that if you purchase one regularly priced item on 7/28 you get a matching pair for free. If you miss out on these free pots, have any of the following for free as well:

Free cardboard

Free wooden pallets

Free styrofoam

Free potting services

Free reading material

Free Rudy references

Free broken pottery past the point of repair

Free pottery jargon

Pottery jargon:

2-for-1 at the pottery store near me. The perfect plant holder at this pottery shop near Northglenn. Get running if you’re in Commerce City and need terracotta sized for trees or a vegetable box. Thinking of a green greenhouse in Erie, Castle Rock, Longmont, Broomfield, or Louisville? Then behold this jargon, pottery barn and pick up the discount pottery planters you’ve been fishing for your plant stand. Hiking up from Centennial, Greeley, Brighton or somewhere far away like Fort Collins to this pottery shop near me is certainly worth it on 7/28 when all these pots near me are super garage sale / yard sale / estate sale price reduced. The tree in your garden would look adorable this summer with a climbing plant growing out of one of my many ceramic succulent pots that you picked up at the two for one ceramics sale from the superior stoneware dealer with all the pottery near me. I will admit, I used to be a Superior plant store near me with all the succulents, plants, monstera, philodendron, and cacti you could ever need, but I’ve opted to let my competition grow aloe and focus on pushing porcelain and fiber concrete / cement instead. So listen up Littleton. Lend me your ear Aurora. Get to gardening Golden. Just because my sole focus is the best deal on pottery doesn’t mean there’s not plants near me. I’m a gardener at heart who’s west of Thornton, east of Arvada, south of Loveland, and north of Parker. I may be relocating in Denver, likely near Lakewood, and perhaps even Wheat Ridge, but you can rest assured my new location won’t be in Boulder, Federal Heights, Westminster, nor Brighton. I’d love to bring back my plant shop with its cacti gardens, but what’s for certain is I’ll continue to have the best prices on red clay, loads of mcm planter options, and painfully long pottery posts.

In case anyone was confused, here’s a song I’ve rewritten to be all about my one day two for one:

Alternatives may be justified

To buy just one, and not another

The goal is to be beautified

Take your plant, bring your brother

The payments sliced for the masses

Safe to buy without oppression

Community looks to fill their back seats

Buying a few here, at least two, no suppression

One, two for one, you only pay for one

One, no one, receives and pays for one

I’m real frankly, I must help us

Pots to change the world, yeah

I feel violet pots in your home

Don't try and change my mind, no

Variety, blinded by color

Why behold just one and not raise another?

Combinations, now buy both types

Sees some greats, buy some further

The word you need is continuity

And all we want is pottery

Prices may rise and fall

But in the end, on 7/28, we'll meet our fate again, oh

One, no one, receives and pays for one

One, two for one, you only pay for one

I’m real frankly, I must help us

Pots to change the world, yeah

I feel violet pots in your home

Don't try and change my mind, no

I’m still hungry, I’m still selfless

Want your change, the world, yeah

Won’t be silent, let it be known

Most buy and exchange for what the’ve pined, so
