10/31/20 - Snow Won’t Stop the Pottery & Plant Show - Succulents and Planters for Sale
Colorado tends to test its gardeners and plant people this time of year. But no matter what it throws our way, we’ll be ready to sell you the plants and pots you need, and maybe a cactus or two, regardless of the weather.
If there are cars driving on Highway 36 and it’s the weekend, we’re open. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday you can find glazed ceramic planters and an assortment of succulent style plants right off the Pecos exit of Highway 36.
The show must go, so feel free to send me pictures of your succulents or house plants you’d trade for pottery. Barter can certainly be in play.
We’re located in the Sherrelwood neighborhood of North Denver. Do message me for the precise address as it hasn’t been listed. Also, if you’d like to reserve a specific time for a visit, I have a scheduling tool just for that.
Outside of through this post, I can be reached by phone at:

Considering the shifty and slippery weather, do bring boots to ensure access to the pottery yard in the event of snow and ice. There’s a warm space inside I’ll gladly shuttle pots to if someone is unable to brave my cold, uncovered backyard.
Conveniently, lots of plants just arrived planted in small mocha brown terracotta planters. There’s a mix of succulents and specific cacti like mammillaria plumosa and crown of thorns (euphorbia) for you to choose from. Smaller plants range from $10 to $35 per.
The current inventory of pots ranges from $10 to $25 for something glazed under 10 inches while a larger pot, say 20 inches wide or 28 inches tall, could cost between $80 and $100. Purchases of two or more items are subject to cash discounts or free items being included with purchase. Free? Did I say free? I did.
The truth shall set you free, as will these unconditionally free items: plant cuttings (when available), pallets, pottery shards (both glazed and terracotta), cracked or damaged pottery, 2 to 8 inch plastic nursery pots (some of the hanging variety), terracotta for children, small rocks, assorted cardboard, and, as always, friendship.
There’s also free pottery jargon, so I’ll plant a little of that on you now, if you can dig that sort of thing.
